Meet us in Arendal in August
Researchers from Vestlandsforsking will be represented at Arendalsuka, the largest political gathering in Norway. This year, we present a wide range of events highliting important issues and dilemmas related to nature, inclusion in the twin green and digital shift, climate risk, and local social development. We invite partners, decision-makers, and all interested parties to meet us for talks and discussions in Arendal.
The gathering takes place from August 10 to 14 in the city of Arendal in Agder. This year we have six events of our own, and several researchers from Western Norway Research Institute (Vestlandsforsking) take part in several other events. Take a look at our list of talks and debates! Here is some basic info on Arendalsveka.

How far have Norwegian municipalities come in their work on climate adaptation? In this event, the new climate risk ranking is presented, and we discuss what the findings say about the status and further needs. Big ships to small villages – how can villages be left with greater income?
