Opportunity study and tolerance limit analysis for the Sognefjord – Additional assignment for Aurland Municipality

The project is an activation of the option in the Sogn Council's tolerance limit analysis and feasibility study for tourism in Sogn. The goal of the project is to conduct a citizen survey to determine what residents in Aurland think about the development of tourism in their village and in the municipality. Based on survey findings, we will examine specific issues related to infrastructure and traffic in various villages/attractive points within the destination and propose possible solutions. Additionally, with the assistance of subcontractor Spor, we will prepare a summary of challenges related to wild reindeer and human activity (tourism/outdoor recreation) and relate this to Aurland and the situation concerning the re-establishment of wild reindeer.
